Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how SEO Map collects, uses and protects personal data when you create an account, build SEO projects, manage a subscription or contact us for support.

2. Information we process

  • Account information such as your email address and authentication data.
  • Project information you provide, including business descriptions, audiences, offers, scope settings and other inputs used to create your Topic Maps.
  • Generated project data, including Topic Maps, page recommendations, roadmaps and internal-link recommendations.
  • Subscription and billing metadata. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by SEO Map.
  • Technical and product-usage information needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Optional product analytics are collected only after analytics consent.
  • Messages and information you send when requesting support.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, generate and store SEO work, administer subscriptions, communicate about your account, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse and improve product reliability. Where consent is required for analytics, you can decline or change that choice without losing access to the core service.

4. Service providers

SEO Map relies on specialist providers to operate the product. These currently include Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, OpenAI for AI-assisted generation, Stripe for billing, Vercel for application hosting, Resend for transactional email and PostHog for consent-based product analytics and error observability. Information is shared with these providers only as needed for the relevant service.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the context, processing is based on providing the service you requested, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, or your consent for optional analytics.

6. Retention

We retain account and project data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.

7. International processing

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we rely on the safeguards provided by those processors and applicable data-protection law for international transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect account and project data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong unique password and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

10. Contact

For privacy requests or questions, contact help@digitalset.co.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
